In value terms, way-type unit head imports declined rapidly to $X in 2021. In general, imports showed a abrupt decrease. In value terms, the largest way-type unit head importing markets in Southern Asia were Pakistan ($X), India ($X) and Bangladesh ($X), together comprising 94% of total imports.

Among the main importing countries, Pakistan, with a CAGR of +40.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
