Imports into Latvia
After three years of growth, overseas purchases of wood chips, particles and residues decreased by X% to X cubic meters in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X cubic meters, and then reduced sharply in the following year.
In value terms, wood chips, particles and residues imports contracted remarkably to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a prominent increase.
