Mango and Mangosteen Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average mango and mangosteen import price amounted to $2,012 per ton, standing approximately at the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 19% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $2,620 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to August 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($3,624 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($1,402 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+1.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Mango and Mangosteen Price in Poland (FOB) - 2023
The average mango and mangosteen export price stood at $2,459 per ton in August 2023, rising by 7.2% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.6%. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 25% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in August 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Austria ($6,878 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($1,973 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (+1.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Mango and Mangosteen Imports in Poland
In 2022, overseas purchases of mangoes, mangosteens and guavas decreased by -10.6% to 11K tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. In general, imports showed a perceptible contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 1.9% against the previous year.
In value terms, mango and mangosteen imports declined sharply to $23M in 2022. Overall, imports showed a deep setback. The smallest decline of -5.4% was in 2021.

Mango and Mangosteen Exports in Poland
