In 2022, the average buckwheat import price amounted to $1,731 per ton, with an increase of 13% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 92% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $338K. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
