Apricot Price in Norway (CIF) - 2022
The average apricot import price stood at $3,126 per ton in 2022, dropping by -2.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 20% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $3,238 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($3,407 per ton), while the price for North Macedonia ($1,965 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Apricot Price in Norway (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average apricot export price amounted to $4,953 per ton, declining by -2% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.4%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 11%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $5,054 per ton in 2021, and then dropped modestly in the following year.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($5,100 per ton), while the average price for exports to Sweden amounted to $3,608 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+6.4%).
Apricot Imports in Norway
In 2022, apricot imports into Norway totaled 445 tons, with an increase of 12% against 2021. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.7% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Apricot Exports in Norway
