It was distantly followed by Senegal (X tons), mixing up a X% share of total exports. Togo (X tons), Nigeria (X tons) and Cote d'Ivoire (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Cote d'Ivoire ($X per ton), while Ghana ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Cote d'Ivoire (X%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Imports in Western Africa
In 2022, overseas purchases of metal windows and doors decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the second year in a row after four years of growth. Overall, imports continue to indicate a slight downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, metal window and door imports dropped modestly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded a slight slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Togo, with a CAGR of X%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price in Western Africa stood at $X per ton in 2022, dropping by X% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when the import price increased by X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
