Exports from the U.S.
In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in shipments abroad of maize, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate strong growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, maize exports reduced slightly to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, leveling off in the following year.
