In 2023, approx. X tons of uncoated kraft liner were exported in MENA; with an increase of X% compared with the year before. In general, exports, however, showed a slight contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2023, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, uncoated kraft liner exports expanded slightly to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, exports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2023, the exports failed to regain momentum.

From 2014 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2023, Turkey (X tons), distantly followed by Egypt (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Morocco (X tons) and Saudi Arabia (X tons) were the main importers of uncoated kraft liner, together creating X% of total imports.
