In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in shipments abroad of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors, when their volume decreased by X% to X units. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X units, and then contracted significantly in the following year.

In value terms, exports of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors expanded remarkably to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

The United Arab Emirates dominates tractors structure, amounting to X units, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. Saudi Arabia (X units) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Kuwait (X units) and Qatar (X units). All these countries together held near X% share of total exports. Oman (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

The United Arab Emirates was also the fastest-growing in terms of the fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Kuwait (X%), Saudi Arabia (X%), Qatar (X%) and Oman (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Oman ($X per unit), while the United Arab Emirates ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

After three years of growth, overseas purchases of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors decreased by X% to X units in 2022. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then declined remarkably in the following year.

In value terms, imports of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors amounted to $X in 2022.
