Vegetable Product Price in Costa Rica (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average vegetable product export price amounted to $950 per ton, shrinking by -26% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a deep setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 37% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $2,819 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,078 per ton), while the average price for exports to Canada ($662 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Vegetable Product Exports in Costa Rica
In 2022, exports of vegetable products from Costa Rica soared to 2K tons, picking up by 35% against the previous year's figure. Overall, exports enjoyed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 39%.
