Vaccine Price in Malaysia (CIF) - 2022
The average vaccine import price stood at $571,570 per ton in 2022, approximately reflecting the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a temperate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 43% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $757,406 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($3,004,818 per ton), while the price for South Korea ($64,531 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+11.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Vaccine Price in Malaysia (FOB) - 2022
The average vaccine export price stood at $50,047 per ton in 2022, reducing by -29.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a noticeable decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 194% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $98,690 per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Bangladesh ($367,705 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hong Kong SAR ($11,828 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Vaccine Imports in Malaysia
Vaccine imports into Malaysia contracted to 277 tons in 2022, shrinking by -6.3% against the year before.
