Unwrought Tin Alloys Price in Spain (FOB) - 2023

The average unwrought tin alloys export price stood at $15,748 per ton in July 2023, waning by -56.6% against the previous month. In general, the export price saw a deep slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 132% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $38,911 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($47,606 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($13,558 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mexico (0.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Unwrought Tin Alloys Price in Spain (CIF) - 2023

The average unwrought tin alloys import price stood at $15,406 per ton in July 2023, waning by -49.6% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a noticeable reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 32% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $30,561 per ton in June 2023, and then shrank significantly in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($27,900 per ton), while the price for the UK ($10,746 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+24.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Unwrought tin alloys exports from Spain surged to 6.4K tons in 2022, with an increase of 21% on the previous year. Overall, exports, however, recorded a abrupt contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 62% against the previous year.

In value terms, unwrought tin alloys exports reached $101M in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate slight growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 109%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Tin prices peaked at $39,159 per ton in November 2021, soaring by 79% from the beginning of that year.
