The average sulphites; of sodium import price stood at $668 per ton in December 2022, reducing by -2.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2022 an increase of 7.7% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $726 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to December 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
