Price for Woven Fabrics of Artificial Staple Fibres in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2023

In September 2023, the average import price for woven fabrics of artificial staple fibres amounted to $2.1 per square meter, with a decrease of -4.1% against the previous month. Over the period from September 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 30% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $2.5 per square meter in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to September 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Spain ($7.8 per square meter), while the price for Slovakia ($1.4 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+8.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Austria (+8.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
