Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in September 2023 when the average export price increased by 28% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $3,778 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to October 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($1,754 per ton), while the average price for exports to China stood at $757 per ton.
