The average import price for wine; still, in containers holding more than 2 litreses stood at $1.6 per litre in 2022, shrinking by -3.4% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, import price for wine; still, in containers holding more than 2 litreses increased by +25.0% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 30% against the previous year. In general, total imports indicated buoyant growth from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +15.4% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +53.5% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 36%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $2.7M, and then shrank slightly in the following year.
