The average export price for waste (including noils, yarn waste and garnetted stock), of man-made fibreses stood at $467 per ton in 2022, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 4%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,141 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Rwanda ($518 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kenya totaled $467 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kenya (-6.5%).
