In August 2023, the average titanium; waste and scrap import price amounted to $14,805 per ton, almost unchanged from the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2022 when the average import price increased by 142% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $5,312 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
