In September 2023, the average import price for spices; cardamoms, crushed or ground amounted to $18,596 per ton, jumping by 72% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 73% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $22,353 per ton. From January 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
