Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 an increase of 11% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,089 per ton. From April 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Thailand.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Vietnam amounted to +1.8% per month.
