The average nuts (prepared or preserved) export price stood at $2,612 per ton in July 2023, with an increase of 16% against the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in June 2023 when the average export price increased by 31% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in July 2023.

The import price peaked at $5,294 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
