From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Indonesia (-3.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average nutmeg, mace and cardamom export price stood at $6,372 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -75.9% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a deep reduction. The export price peaked at $26,484 per ton in 2021, and then declined markedly in the following year.
