In 2022, the average export price for leguminous vegetables; shelled or unshelled, fresh or chilleds amounted to $584 per ton, with an increase of 77% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 130% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $916 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Norway ($714 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($445 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+90.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($2,678 per ton), while the price for Lithuania ($331 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
