In 2022, the average lecithins and other phosphoaminolipids import price amounted to $1,178 per ton, rising by 2.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a deep downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 17% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $2,193 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Brazil ($1,800 per ton), while the price for Singapore ($630 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Brazil (+6.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Lecithins and Other Phosphoaminolipids in Myanmar

The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +8.4% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
