The average import price for laboratory, hygienic or pharmaceutical glassware, whether or not graduated or calibrateds stood at $31,924 per ton in December 2022, declining by -9.8% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2022 an increase of 19% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $35,403 per ton in November 2022, and then declined in the following month.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2022, the country with the highest price was the United States ($84,153 per ton), while the price for China ($12,833 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
