The average import price for imines and their derivatives; salts thereof; other than chlordimeform (ISO) stood at $5,259 per ton in September 2023, declining by -7.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a noticeable shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 an increase of 25% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $8,056 per ton. From April 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was India ($6,715 per ton), while the price for Russia ($3,294 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+5.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average export price for imines and their derivatives; salts thereof; other than chlordimeform (ISO) stood at $8,993 per ton in September 2023, almost unchanged from the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a slight shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 26% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $13,930 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to September 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($41,508 per ton), while the average price for exports to China stood at $5,663 per ton.

From October 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+5.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
