The average import price for electric motors; AC motors, single-phases stood at $7.8 per unit in May 2023, with an increase of 27% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a mild downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 48% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $10.3 per unit in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to May 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, the average export price for electric motors; AC motors, single-phases amounted to $9.4 per unit, with a decrease of -22.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, enjoyed a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 64% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $12 per unit, and then declined significantly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kyrgyzstan ($10 per unit), while the average price for exports to Azerbaijan ($6.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2017 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Tajikistan (+21.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
