The average export price for crustacean preparations; prepared or preserved crustaceans (excluding crab, shrimps, prawns and lobster)s stood at $21,000 per ton in 2022, standing approx. at the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 70% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $22,889 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Maldives.
