The average andalusite, kyanite and sillimanite import price stood at $592 per ton in July 2023, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 14% month-to-month. From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by South Africa (+1.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
