In 2022, the average export price for aluminium; alloys, wire, maximum cross-sectional dimension exceeding 7mms amounted to $4,823 per ton, picking up by 27% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.3%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average export price increased by 27% against the previous year. The export price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
