The average aluminium; alloys, hollow profiles import price stood at $4,948 per ton in July 2023, with an increase of 2.8% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2022 an increase of 12% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $5,372 per ton. From November 2022 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Indonesia ($6,171 per ton) and Taiwan (Chinese) ($5,468 per ton), while the price for South Korea ($4,687 per ton) and China ($4,831 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 11% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $6,359 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($9,914 per ton), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($4,247 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to India (+0.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
