Poultry Price in Uzbekistan (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average poultry import price amounted to $964 per ton, declining by -9.4% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a perceptible descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 45%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $1,333 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,478 per ton), while the price for Poland ($656 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+15.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Poultry Price in Uzbekistan (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average poultry export price amounted to $518 per ton, which is down by -58.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average export price increased by 225% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $1,509 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($526 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kyrgyzstan ($473 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2017 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Poultry Imports in Uzbekistan
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of poultry, when their volume decreased by -5.4% to 51K tons. In general, imports, however, showed a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 75%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 54K tons, and then dropped in the following year.
In value terms, poultry imports reduced to $50M in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 153%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $58M, and then declined in the following year.
