Plum and Sloe Price in Brazil (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average plum and sloe import price amounted to $1,762 per ton, declining by -5% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 33% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,854 per ton, and then reduced in the following month.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($1,763 per ton), while the price for Portugal amounted to $1,756 per ton.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Chile (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Plum and Sloe Price in Brazil (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average plum and sloe export price amounted to $309 per ton, waning by -90.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a sharp reduction.
