Intake Air Filter Price in Italy (CIF) - 2023
The average intake air filter import price stood at $15.7 per unit in August 2023, growing by 10% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 36% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $17.2 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($63.0 per unit), while the price for Hungary ($4.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+14.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In August 2023, the average intake air filter export price amounted to $19.9 per unit, falling by -9.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a mild slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 27% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $23.1 per unit in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to August 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+4.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Intake Air Filter Imports in Italy
In 2022, the amount of intake air filters for internal combustion engines imported into Italy contracted to 5.5M units, dropping by -8.8% against the year before. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years.
