Green Bean Price in Thailand (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average green bean export price amounted to $1,050 per ton, surging by 12% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a abrupt decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the average export price increased by 16%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,998 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Norway ($4,425 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lao People's Democratic Republic ($277 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+27.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
