Grape Price in Israel (CIF) - 2023
The average grape import price stood at $2,375 per ton in April 2023, remaining stable against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $2,438 per ton in April 2022; afterwards, it flattened through to April 2023.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for South Africa.

In 2022, the average grape export price amounted to $1,251 per ton, which is down by -38.9% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a abrupt setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average export price increased by 11%. The export price peaked at $2,512 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($1,273 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands stood at $1,021 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belarus (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Grape Imports in Israel
