Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Sweden (CIF) - 2021

In November 2021, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $3,397 per ton, surging by 32% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible curtailment. The import price peaked at $5,629 per ton in November 2020; however, from December 2020 to November 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($7,803 per ton), while the price for Germany ($1,028 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+6.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Sweden (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $8,378 per ton, picking up by 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a slight reduction. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $10,160 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($15,919 per ton), while the average price for exports to Norway ($4,025 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (-0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in Sweden

In 2022, approx. 5.7K tons of glass fibre voiles were imported into Sweden; growing by 9.5% against the previous year's figure. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, glass fibre voiles imports reduced modestly to $25M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a pronounced slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 0.3% against the previous year.
