Frozen Fruit Price in Hong Kong SAR (CIF) - 2023
The average frozen fruit import price stood at $6,467 per ton in June 2023, growing by 11% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate moderate growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 64% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $6,996 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to June 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($21,855 per ton), while the price for Vietnam ($1,689 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+5.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average frozen fruit export price amounted to $5,695 per ton, rising by 8.5% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 51%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $7,226 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
