Concrete Reinforcing Bar Price in Germany (CIF) - 2023
The average concrete reinforcing bar import price stood at $871 per ton in June 2023, reducing by -4% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a pronounced curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 16% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $1,173 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($1,076 per ton), while the price for Oman ($704 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Oman (0.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In June 2023, the average concrete reinforcing bar export price amounted to $922 per ton, with a decrease of -8.5% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a noticeable decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 14% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $1,227 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
