Boiler Parts Price in the United States (CIF) - 2023

In August 2023, the average boiler parts import price amounted to $26,079 per ton, growing by 22% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a strong expansion from August 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.0% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on August 2023 figures, boiler parts import price increased by +37.1% against May 2023 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 30% m-o-m. The import price peaked in August 2023.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($62,159 per ton), while the price for Italy ($7,500 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Canada (+10.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Boiler Parts Price in the United States (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average boiler parts export price amounted to $68,126 per ton, surging by 61% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the average export price increased by 177% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Canada ($146,534 per ton), while the average price for exports to Australia ($10,465 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Canada (+26.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Boiler Parts Imports in the United States

In 2022, approx. 9.2K tons of parts of boilers for central heating were imported into the United States; with an increase of 36% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, total imports indicated prominent growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +10.1% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +65.2% against 2020 indices. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, boiler parts imports surged to $141M in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a resilient expansion from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +14.0% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +75.6% against 2020 indices. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
